Nursery information for The Plant Specialist

Established in 2002, the Nursery is located in the village of Great Missenden in the Chilterns and is dedicated to growing a wide range of unusual herbaceous perennials and grasses – many of which can be seen in the display garden.

The versatility and variety of these plants can be used in many combinations and styles – in domestic ‘cottage garden’ planting or in a more contemporary ‘prairie style’; and they are particularly relevant at a time when the sustainability and sensitivity to our environment is of paramount importance.

Plant breeders from around the world continue to introduce new forms of old favourites which often have longer flowering periods, more vigour and a wider range of colour.
